Continuous ringing before ACD Agent Answers

Continuous ringing before ACD Agent Answers

Continuous ringing before ACD Agent Answers

(OP)
Is there a way to send back multiple rings to a caller until an ACD agent answers when they are dialing a toll free number for our call center?  Currently, callers hear one ring prior to being answered by an agent (unless the queue is full and the caller hears a message).  All of our vectors have step one set as wait time 0 seconds hearing ringback.  The caller hears one ring and then dead silence until the agent accepts the call.  Some of our agents are slow on the trigger and we find that we have a consistent number of short calls.  Any ideas?

RE: Continuous ringing before ACD Agent Answers

Add an audio/music source. step 1: wait time 2 seconds hearing music. Sounds better for the caller than ringing... Just an idea.

Put the agents on auto-answer acd calls.  That speeds their response time considerably.
