partner mode r6.1(5) night service will not disable

ext 10 - night service button stays lit.
press it to disable but nothing happens...button stays lit and system stays in nights
confirmed button is programmed as night service button.
any suggestions
I removed the night service button but system is still in nights - AA still picks up

When you press it, does it start flashing?

If so, then you need to enter the System Password to turn it off.

If not, then you most likely will need to save your configuration, default the system, just program the Night Button again and test it when the system comes back up.

Then if it works OK, send your configuration back into the KSU.

Test it again after the configuration has finished loading into the KSU.
