Greetings Everyone!

Was wondering if anyone knew how to change the TEC SX4 printers from Transfer Thermal to Direct Thermal via the printer itself, I have been through a million options, none which work. We are not hooking the printer up to a desktop, but I read up it supports this mode and was just wondering if anyone had actually switched one over before.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

RE: Toshiba SX4

I have not done this myself, but with the assistance of looking at some Google 'finds' I came across:

I have a TEC SX4 printer and im trying to convert the machine to print on thermal labels without a ribbon.. I don't know how to do it! Can anyone help me please

If the 'solution' is accurate, it looks like the resolution you are looking for.

Good Luck,
JRB-Bldr

Thank you for your post and reply. Unfortunately that solution was for another model but I will keep looking within the settings for similarity since it's by the same manufacture.

Thanks again.
