And the clue is the license plate frame saying "Army Mom" on the top and "U.S.Army" on the bottom.

Any ideas?

Perhaps an Army Mom with grandkids?

Last three letters could be ARMY somehow. But then I can't think of anything for the G in the middle.

RE: Vanity Plates "XVI"

I don't mean to perpetuate the tangent, but my boys were really into World of Warcraft a couple years ago. I'm not a big gamer, but they talked me into creating a character and playing. Oh my, how addicting! The rewards system of slowly gaining skills, weapons, armor, strength, and experience (and looking cooler and more bad @ss) keeps you wanting to play more. Getting to the point where you're able to go into new lands and explore new areas without getting killed whenever you step off the path is really addicting.

When you're sitting there at 4am on a school work night, "just playing a few more minutes" because you're about to level up, and your wife is standing in the hallway, arms crossed, foot tapping, with "that look" (you married guys know the one), then you know it's gone a little too far. bigsmile

As these threads accumulate, remember that the NFL has decided that the 50th Super Bowl will be Super Bowl 50, not Super Bowl L. The 40th was labeled XL, so I guess it's hard to downsize to an L 10 years after having an XL event. There could be other humorous moments, "I'd like a Super Bowl t-shirt, please". "Super Bowl L?" "No, XL". "Sorry, we're sold out of Super Bowl XL." smile

RE: Vanity Plates "XVI"

Regarding Lotii (Lotuses?), I've always loved them. I saw a used one on a car lot once and stopped to check it out. After getting the key from the sales guy, I tried to get into it. Now keep in mind that I'm an American, born and raised, and we don't do "small" here. I'm not fat by any means, just "substantially American".

I first tried getting into it like a normal car, one leg first, then swing the butt in to sit, then bring the trailing leg in. The door opening is very small, and there's a large "shelf" between the driver's seat and the outer door edge. It's almost like a small tunnel. After struggling for several minutes, and laughing the whole time, I gave up. The normal way didn't work. I had to crawl head first on my hands and knees to get out. My wife said it looked like the car was giving birth to me.

After a few minutes looking at the problem, I came up with a solution. Go through the door opening head first and crawl past the drivers seat. Then, back up putting my feet down the foot well to the pedals, drop butt into seat. It worked! It was SNUG. I felt like I was in a form fitting Formula 1 cockpit. I Loved it! I wanted to go fast in it.

Reversing my entry didn't seem to work for getting out. I appeared to be lacking the necessary agility. My egress also involved me being born again, crawling head first on my hands and knees and laughing hysterically.

Alas, it was not to be. Family commitments took priority over an expensive, self indulgent toy.

I still get a chuckle when I see one go by.

RE: Vanity Plates "XVI"

Uhhh, maybe in your neighborhood, but Mustangs here are driven by real men and proper hooligans like me. At least the GTs and Shelby's are.

I've got a GT that has been properly upgraded. It gets driven with gusto. All of the BMW M3s in my neighborhood have seen my tail lights a quake in my presence.

Saying Mustangs are only driven by women is a myopically ignorant generalization at best. Sexist too, since my wife drives it like a maniac too (at least when she's not driving her John Cooper Works Mini Cooper).

Bah! I reject your reality and substitute my own. bigsmile
