CSS Book Recommendations

CSS Book Recommendations

(OP)
Does anyone have any good recommendations for books on CSS?

I recently stumbled upon CSS Zen Garden. I was blown away by how extremely different the CSS can shape the web site, all with identical HTML. I decided my CSS knowledge was severely subpar and I'd like to fix that. Does anyone have some good book or site recommendations? I understand the basics, but want to take it a lot further.

RE: CSS Book Recommendations

Have you looked at Zen Garden's own book?

Zen Garden, the book.

That seems to be just a showing of the different pages, and not so much how to do it. I'm more curious on getting to the depth of creating things like that and from the comments, it looks like that's not the book for that.

RE: CSS Book Recommendations

Basically it comes down to knowing what you want to do, and then applying the CSS to do it.

Any decent CSS Book will teach you what CSS can do. Then it comes down to experimenting with it and pre existing HTML to make it do what you want.

Its not really that obscure or complex (depending on what you want to do). The first step is to take Zen Garden's HTML and apply CSS to it. See what happens.
