Fax machine + Majicjack

Fax machine + Majicjack

Fax machine + Majicjack

(OP)
I just recently purchased a MajicJack to use as a fax number.
The telephone option works fine, whether I use it with a computer or without a computer.

The problem I'm having is sending/recieving faxes.
On the MajicJack end, I have it hooked into my computer, but the fax menu option is grayed out. When I tried it without the computer, the fax did not work. The online documentation says the fax should work fine!

On the printer/fax side
I have a wireless connection using an Hi-Speed internet service (ATTs Uverse)
My printer/fax is an Epson Artisan 837. The online documentation says that faxing over an VoIP is not guaranteed since faxes are made to operate over an analog phone line.

But as suggested in their docs, I have the V.34 and ECM functions in the commumication turned to off to cut down on internet traffic.

Has anyone solved this problem. (that is using a fax machine with the MajicJack) and guide me as to what else to do?
