ODBC manager

ODBC manager

ODBC manager

(OP)
I have a label program, CodeSoft, and when I try to open the ODBC Administrator program I get this error: Unable to launch ODBC manager. I have several other database programs that access SQL 2005 database through ODBC connections that work. I also can bring up the ODBC Data Source Administrator through Windows with no problem. I tried uninstalling and then re installing the Label Program but still get the error message. I've tried asking the same question on the label programs Forum but they basically say it's a Microsoft problem, strange since ever other ODBC connection works. I need to get this working, any ideas????? ponder

RE: ODBC manager

Could be that CodeSoft uses its own ODBC driver, and it is not installed on your machine. Might be some help here:

although I don't think Win Vista & later allow installation of MDAC...
