When entering feature code 98x for voicemail the handsfree light comes on before the "x" can be entered, any suggestions?

Umm if your not picking up the handset before pressing the feature code then the phone will indeed go into handsfree mode.

BTW - Your posting in the wrong forum, try the BCM forum instead.
