Hi everyone,
does anybody know, how i can use DV-clips, wich are longer than 3 minutes? Everytime i import clips longer than 3 minutes i get black frames from 3 minutes to the end of the clip. Splitting the clips is working, but this is very time consuming, if you want to apply a single filter on a whole 10-15 minutes clip. BTW 3 minutes is smaller than the 2GB older Windows OS had for size-limit.
I use After Effects 5, WIN XP 256MB Ram ( it is not much, but enough for hobby)

Do you still only see black after 3 min. if you reduce your preview resolution?  If so, perhaps you simply need to up your RAM.
