Manual copy and paste

Manual copy and paste

Hello all,

Where I work, management has determined that macros cannot scrape information from Attachmate Reflection for a period of a few months. As you can imagine, most of the macros used scrape information from the terminal, and they are all indispensable. I am in the process of modifying the macros to allow for this new change and for the first macro I have created a userform with a large textbox inwhich I can paste an entire terminal screen that I have copied manually.

My question is, is there an option which will allow even white space to be copied as well. I'm having the problem of all trailing spaces not being copied, and so I cannot parse the information correctly.

If there isn't an option to allow for white spaces to be copied, does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks for any help.

RE: Manual copy and paste

When I used an Extra terminal emulator, I'd copy an entire screen and could paste it getting all the text.

You might change the font in the target application to something like Courier, a fixed pitch font, rather that variable pitch like most are.
