Emailing customer statements

Emailing customer statements

(OP)
We're running Macola ES 9.5.800 and created a user-defined statement that we want to email to our customers. We've tried following the Exact documentation, but to be honest it stinks. Any help would be appreciated.

If you don't have Event Manager, one of the best 'bang for your buck' products out there is Visual Cut. This will allow you to email ANY Crystal report e.g. acknowledgements, statements, invoices, PO's, advanced shipment notices etc. You can use it to email reports externally, as well as internally e.g. sales reports, open order lists, inventory shortages. You can set reports up so that they don't email if there are no results, so it can be used for exception reporting too. Another nice feature is that you can have Visual Cut add tabs to exported MSExcel sheets - so you could schedule monthly inventory summaries and have them write to tabs in an MSExcel spreasheet (one tab for each month). Everything can be controlled dynamically from values in Macola i.e. user defined fields to determine what customers or vendors get emailed reports - and then everything can be scheduled to run automatically.

RE: Emailing customer statements

I'm going to second Peter's recommendation of Visual CUT. In terms of crystal report scheduling, it can do anything Event Manager can do at a fraction of the price.

Thanks for the suggestion! We just downloaded a free 30 day trial of Visual Cut and hopefully it will satisfy our needs.
