Creating link from Access to Progression database

(OP)
I can not figure out how to configure Access to pull data from the Macola database. I use SQL daily to pull data from Macola into Excel via SQL. I need help figuring out to set up the same in Access.

RE: Creating link from Access to Progression database

Create an ODBC DSN to the Macola database and create link tables in Access.

Software Training, Implementation, Programming and Support for Macola Progression, Macola ES, Synergy, and Crystal Reports. Check out our Macola tools: www.gainfocus.biz/exceladdin.html

RE: Creating link from Access to Progression database

Note that if you're using Macola ES there are some tables you will not be able to link to due to the limit on the number of indexes and columns. You can get around this by creating a view on the table in SQL and linking to the view instead.
