Web Sites:
- This is were the "real" VFP gurus hang out (basic membership is free, but like most of these web based sites you have to register. Lot's of Downloads and FAQs.
- A "different" place, but lots of info if you look around!
Newsgroups: (I use Outlook Express, but there are a number of other newsgroup reader programs available - both free and not free)
msnews.microsoft.com
microsoft.public.fox.* (now about 21 specific) - microsoft.public.fox.programmer.exchange and microsoft.public.fox.helpwanted are the two most used.
news.devx.com
vfp.general (you can get to this through their web site also - , but I find this method much more difficult to use.)
(your ISP's Newsgroup server)
(some if not all of the Microsoft newsgroups - I just prefer to use the "real" one rather than a mirrored version.)
comp.databases.xbase.fox - This is similar to but not always the same as microsoft.public.fox.programmer.exchange
Do you have any specific questions now? Make sure you are clear about the version you are using (e.g. FPD 2.5b, FPW 2.6a, etc.).

thanks for the list - I know some of these as vfp resources - am looking for 2.6 help in particular and specifically info on how 2.6 does under xp and pitfalls. I have an app giving an error under xp and refusing to run - I have to get the exact error message from the user and will post it when I get it. thanks again - I will be checking out the links......
