Is there a way to create a link to a crystal report in Business Objects.

What I want to do is combine two reports I have, so essentially I would leave one report name listed and then link it to the other report. So I guess I need to know how to list the name of the report, and then I need to know how to link it to another report in Business Objects. Can this be done?

Thanks in advance!

RE: Is there a way to create a link to a crystal report in Business Objects.

You can import an existing report into another report as a subreport. Put it in the report header or footer, so it is only run once. No need for any link between them.

The subreport runs independently and does its own data selection, which may be to a completely different database.

You can also set up a link to the second report inside the first report by using an "OpenDocument" call. If you'll let us know which version of BO you're using, I'll point you to the correct help file that explains how to do this.
