Hey everyone,

I am new the forum and have a few questions. I apologize if I come off as a newbie, but I am just getting into this technology.

I'm interested in setting up a 4-8 phone system for my house and like the idea of the UCX 50 as I can a variety of phones and really experiment with all the features, plus it seems very easy to use.

I'm assuming once I purchase this system, I can use it with a router and the phones can communicate (of course once it's all setup). Is this correct or is additional equipment required.

Does any one have any ball park pricing for the UCX50? Nothing seems to be available.

RE: UCX

To use IP phones, you need
1. UCx50 system
2. IP phones smile
3. A switch/router (to provide Ethernet connectivity)

To use Nortel digital phones (Norstar/BCM M and T series), you would also need UCx Digital Gateway.

Regarding pricing, you should send an e-mail to info@emetrotel.com or call 214 556-5917. They will direct you to an authorized reseller in your area.
