Auto discovery on virtualization error: failed

Auto discovery on virtualization error: failed

Auto discovery on virtualization error: failed

(OP)
Hi

I tried the auto discovery on one of our vm which is a 64 bit OS . I tried the following steps

1. Stop the NetWorker services
2. Kill 'nsrvim' process from taskManager.
3. Restart the NetWorker services.
4. Run the AutoDiscovery again

It gave me the following error ;

I get the following lines within nsrtask.raw

78827 1359649163 2 0 0 1 21383 0 redwood nsrtask 23 [%s] Monitoring job: %d 2 42 24 miwinvc1.ad.hutton.ac.uk 1 7 2112719

Is there any workaround for the issue ??

Thanks

RE: Auto discovery on virtualization error: failed

I can only think that the configuration of the VC resource is somehow incorrect.
You better look once again into the virtualization resource.

You should also use nsrvim with more verbosity to receive more details.
