I just installed PSQL v11 on the vi

I just installed PSQL v11 on the virtual server. Pervasive knowledge base (v11) indicates that any changes to the virtual server will bring about a deactivation.
What do you consider a change or changes to the virtual server? Will periodic Microsoft server software updates to the virtual server be considered changes or are we talking about actual hardware changes? I want to know so I can tell the server infrasctruce install team. Please I'll really appreciate it if you can clarify this for me.

RE: I just installed PSQL v11 on the vi

According to the docs:

Note that after you have authorized a product on a machine, changes to certain hardware configuration items could disable the key. (Configuration changes on a physical machine such as hard drive serial number, network interface card, MAC address, BIOS firmware, CPU type, operating system running on the hardware, and machine name, and hostname or MAC addresses on a VM.) If you need to change hardware configuration, delete the key first. Doing so, disassociates the product key from its unique installation ID. After you complete the hardware configuration changes, you can again apply the product key.

I have never seen Microsoft updates cause license problems with PSQL. Changing hardware (NIC, CPU, etc) will cause it to become "invalid".
