Network application cant use ODBC entries

Network application cant use ODBC entries

(OP)
we have one workstation in our network that cannot run an EXE stored on a domain joined file server. This workstation is not a part of the domain and so it is not using the ODBC entries in the SYSTEM DSN. Is there a way to get this stand along workstation to use the ODBC entries?

We currently have a statup script on the standalone workstation that connects the mapped network drive and allows the workstation to get to the EXE on the file server.

Do I have to configure the permissions for the ODBC registry entries in HKLM?

Any help is much appreciated.
