WLC 5508 known problem

WLC 5508 known problem

so recently, ok 6 months ago i tried to move our WLC 5508 into a different VLan. apparently this caused problems with AP's being able to join the Wireless infrastructure due to bug "CSCte01087" in which an AS access point when attempting to join CAPWAP will fail because of circumstances pertaining to it's Mac address vs. the controllers mac address. I was wondering if anyone know if this was fixed in a newer version of the WLC software, or if i'm really going to need to move my controller into a non-standard Vlan to get around this? As always, any help is appreciated.
