I thought I seen it all until today LOL. I was behind a building today and noticed the drop wire comming in from the telephone pole it was a good 75 feet. Somebodody has wrapped one of those cheap orange extention cords around the in comming telephone cable
for 75 feet so they could plug in their car block heater out on the street in the winter.
I went into the building asked how the phones where working LOL the lady said their was quite a bit of line noise in the winter and nobody new why LOL. The cord has been their for years it is no longer orange its faded from the sun. nobody noticed it
