Backup Exec 2010 Ver13 SP1, Cannot restore individual mailbox after USB nightly drive change

Backup Exec 2010 Ver13 SP1, Cannot restore individual mailbox after USB nightly drive change

Backup Exec 2010 Ver13 SP1, Cannot restore individual mailbox after USB nightly drive change

(OP)
Hello,

I back up the First Storage Group information store nightly after hours on a removable USB hard drive. The next day I can restore an individual mailbox without any problems from that backup. The problem is if I need to restore a mailbox from a backup created a few days earlier I cannot see “older” backup mailboxes listed under the First Storage Group. In Backup Exec, under restore job properties, will not show the mailboxes under the First Storage Group. The only mailboxes shown will be from the previous nights backup. Basically I can’t restore anything done before the previous night. I have 5 removable USB hard drives labeled Monday thru Friday that I append or over write each week. Any help getting A few day old mailbox would be greatly appreciated!

Kevin

You will need to run Inventory and Catalog before you run the restore
