T7406 Factory Reset

T7406 Factory Reset

T7406 Factory Reset

Does anyone know the 3 digit feature code which resets the T7406 back to factory default? Is the security code stored on the telephone and the transmitter? I am trying to replace one defective handset with a functioning set from a different location. I am fimilar with setting and transmitting the secutity code to the base. This phone does send and accept the security code but the screen goes blank and will not display the date and time or function. I tested the switch port with another set and it is functioning. Thanx!

RE: T7406 Factory Reset

Thanx for your post Hawks. I think you are referring to the 'E' mode which has a maitenance model. The original 7406 product has a 'Star Feature Code' which resets the unit to factory default.
If anyone  has the feature code it would be appreciated.
