Replacing failed HDD on Logical Drive Replacing failed HDD on Logical Drive kurio71 (TechnicalUser) (OP) 4 Apr 12 01:44 The HDD in slot 1 failed and needs replacing. It's an X3250 M3 server with ServeRAID. Is it just a matter of installing the replacement drive from IBM and it will rebuild itself? If rebuild doesn't start in a few minutes, scan the drives again in serveraid manager, and then add the drive to the array as a global hot spare, and it should kick off a rebuild.
