Hi.
I am new to SharePoint. I have a SharePoint which has a list of tasks for the week.  My requirement is this :

I need an email to be sent from the SharePoint to a group of people with the link to the SharePoint site.  The email should be sent on a particular day and time.

How can I do that ?  Do I need SharePoint Designer ? I have SPD 2007 installed, but do not know how to use it for my requirement.

Can anybody help ?

Regards
Murthy

RE: trigger an email at a particular time

in SharePoint Designer, you would want to create a workflow.
The Action you are looking for is Pause Until.
Then send email Action.

Pause Until will only work once, and cannot be updated.

Questions.
Are these tasks static? What I mean is, does the List change every week?  Or, do you need the email to go out every week on the same tasks?
