We are using feature items for a product line that has a lot of options - not that many sales. Means the difference between upkeeping 84 top numbers and 2000. We are having trouble agreeing on labelling or how to have the customer reorder the right number (since the top could contain many numbers). Anyone using feature items? How do you handle the loss of an specific top number?

Celeste

P.S. Was thinking of making the part number on the forms a formula - base part number + user code of the option + user code of the next option etc. - That way we have the unique top number but are minimizing the upkeep. Any one done anything like that in crystal?

RE: Feature Items

You can copy an iem from history, but i'm not sure that copies the configuration.
