MySql error during installation

MySql error during installation

MySql error during installation

Guys / Ladies,
I am trying to install BO4.0 with MysQL so
I had installed mysql on the box and then was able to run default queries and create and drop tables etc.

But after specifying the mySql credentials during install procedures BO doesnt accept the settings :
name - MySQL
server - localhost
port - 3306(default port)
username - mysql
password - password

error which comes up is :- No data supplied for parameters in prepared statement

tried to look up the error and did start the mysql but in vain....

Can anyone please advise on what needs to be done at this end?
