Hi,

I was wondering if there is a Butt Phone Set that will let you test both Digital and Analog lines. Presently we are using a TS44 Pro that allows us to test analog lines only. When we connect to a digital line we only get an audible indication. So what we would like to do is have the ability to dial on either line ( Analog or Digital ) with the same Butt Phone. We are using an 81C Rel 5.0

No, because each digital phone is proprietary to its manufacturer. You can detect the presence of the digital signal, as you have found, but you need an actual phone to test the functioning of the extension port.

Most of the time, you will be able to detect battery on a digital, which at least lets you know you have a full loop...
