converting Oracle driver to SQL driver?

converting Oracle driver to SQL driver?

converting Oracle driver to SQL driver?

(OP)
I have a crystal 10 report which was created using an Oracle driver and uses a command object that points to an Oracle database.

Now this report needs to point to a SQL database. Is there an easy way to achieve this without creating a new report?

RE: converting Oracle driver to SQL driver?

Hi,
Since the syntax for SQL queries differs between those 2 RDBMSs you will need to recreate the command after redirecting the database location to the SQL Server instance.

(By the way, Oracle is also a SQL database since SQL is a language used to create queries - Sql Server is Microsoft's database product)
