When I connect my printer, instead of the chime I usually hear, I hear a hollow sound and a 3 prong figure appears in my taskbar. Is there possibly a cord problem or is this familiar of some other problem? Thanks for helping!

Do you have the proper drivers installed for your printer?

Is this the first time you are connecting it or did it just start not functioning lately?
