Virtual Networks

(OP)
When I create virtual networks(different ip ranges) on a esx 4.1 host so I need to create the associated vlans on my layer 3 switch? Any other things I need to configure? Thanks

RE: Virtual Networks

yes, you need to make sure that the network settings match exactly on both the vSwitch as well as the pSwitch. Also, make sure that all network settings match exactly (vSwitch name, port group name, etc) on all hosts in your cluster if you are doing HA.

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)
