Removing a Company

Removing a Company

Removing a Company

(OP)
How can you remove a company from the list where you open a company up. Several times I have tried to restore the files and it messed the files up where I can't not open the company.  Each time I tried to restore it would make another company that I can't not open up.  I would like to remove them from the list.  How can I do that.

RE: Removing a Company

I just noticed your post.

To remove a company from the list simply delete the folder for that company.

For example, if your company's data is stored in
P:\Peachtree\Company\ABCINC

then delete ABCINC using windows explorer.

You can get the folder name under Maintain, Company Information in the Directory field.  You must have the company open that you want to delete in order to get the correct folder name.
