Cisco AP with PoE Injector not working with Netgear switch

Cisco AP with PoE Injector not working with Netgear switch

(OP)
I have a NetGear ProSafe GSM7248 that I have been forced to use. I was told to get a Cisco AP on this network as well. I have a cheap Cisco switch for testing.

So my Cisco 1260 AP works with the injector when plugged into the Cisco switch, and a small DLink switch, but not when plugged into the Netgear? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Cisco AP with PoE Injector not working with Netgear switch

Cisco often does not play well with other kids...

Try forcing the port on the Cisco to 100/full. Probably a port negotiation issue. I have seen it way too often.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.
