Wireless Connection Stopped Working Suddenly

Wireless Connection Stopped Working Suddenly

Wireless Connection Stopped Working Suddenly

(OP)
This morning, I woke up to a dead wireless connection on my XP machine.
My computer seemed to be infected by some virus so I ran a virus scan and also updated Windows. After this the wirless connection just died.
I have a DSL modem and it says I have connection but the sent and received packets are very low.
Can anyone help me as this is my work computer and I have tons of catching up to do?
Thanks in advance.
Prad

After spending one whole day trying to fix the problem by reading forums, I finally fell on the solution.
