Running out of ports on my E2000 Wireless Router

Running out of ports on my E2000 Wireless Router

(OP)
I'm running out of ports on my Linksys E2000 wireless router in my home network.

My questions are these:
1. Can I use my older Netgear 16 port Fast Ethernet Switch and if so, then how do I connect it and make it all work correctly.
2. Are there drivers that I will need to download.

The main machine that is being used is a HP G71 laptop, wireless and some older desktops too.

Thanks, shadeshappy
jb
