7310 main phone with two other extensions. Norstar Meridian with Flash. For some reason my "general delivery mailbox" says it's full if someone tries to leave a message. When viewing from the handset it show there are no messages but no one is able to leave messages. I've tried a couple times to delete and reinstate the mailbox with no avail. There are two other extensions on this phone system that function just fine for years now. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Not sure what you meant by (10 or 100). I again tried to delete and recreate the mailbox and also changed the class to 2 instead of on with no change - still states that mailbox is full if someone calls in but shows no messages from the handset. Rebooting did not help sadly.

10 is GD for 2 digit intercom 100 is GD for 3 digit intercom and 1000 is GD for 4 digit intercom

all extensions are two digits (ie ext 21 is the main) of that is what you're referring to.

Please pardon my being a bit naive. GD mailbox is Ext #21. If someone tries leaving a message there they here" mailbox is full". If I try to access this by accessing the main handset (ext #21) and press F981 then the password it shows zero messages. Again I have tried to delete and recreate this mailbox a couple times then also rebooting flash with no avail, still does not allow outside callers to leave their message. There are two other extensions on this system that are functioning fine (Ext 22 and 23). I tried changing the class from 1 to two but no difference.

Any extension can be assigned to mailbox 10. The GD mailbox can NOT be deleted, so this is why I ask. It sounds like you are deleting mailbox 21 and then recreating. Verify which station is assigned to mailbox 10 by logging into the Flash, press MBOX, press CHANGE, enter 10, and scroll through the assigned options.

OK, now with your help its getting someplace. It is assigned to "10". Going through the process of pool, line assigned (#21), still seems to lead to the same results though when accessing using Feat 981 then inputting the password from that handset, it shows zero messages and when called> the auto attendant answers> the message says "the operator is not available and the mailbox is full".

Your help here is greatly appreciated Brian. I've had this system for years and just now noticed this fault. We have a website that is pointing people towards our company and now they cannot reach us so rectifying this is critical.

Thanks
Steve

Brian, you are awesome! You solved this issue. I've had this now for 11 years and never knew we had this issue. It was not until last night that I was verifying that our number listed on our new website was routing new customers the right place. only to find that they were being dumped into oblivion and we never knew. Your patience and advice is GREATLY appreciated, you made my day. If ever you find yourself in/near San Diego the beer is on me!
