Phaser 8550DP firmware revert

Phaser 8550DP firmware revert

Greetings - New user here.  Xerox support has been pretty much useless for this now out-of-production machine, so I'm asking here.

Does anybody know if previous versions of Phaser firmware are available anywhere ?  I have a problem with my 8550DP that I think can be resolved by rolling back to the original as-shipped firmware version.

The current installed version is 4.12.10, which has been problematic ever since I was foolish enough to "upgrade" from the shipped version (what ever that was).  Only the most current firmware seems to be resident on the Xerox support page.

RE: Phaser 8550DP firmware revert

The personality chip may be faulty, resulting in errors.
Try updating the network firmware, even if same, could be glitchy.
Or just go ahead with the newest version. Install it as a 32 bit.
