Mimer in Open Office Base

Mimer in Open Office Base

Mimer in Open Office Base

The latest version of Mimer integrates very well in Open Office Base (OOB) both using the ODBC and JDBC connections
and even supports the Master - Detail relations forms in OOB.

This excellent compatibility with Open Office is not mentioned in the OO-documentation.
OOB in not very suitable for developing Mimer-applications but is very suitable for maintainance of data in an existing Mimer-application by a typical end-user.

Mimer indexes, foreign keys, views, constraints and sequences behave well in OOB.

Open Office (ref) is extensively used on various OS-platforms by typical end users of office applications. Therefore, the OO - Mimer compatibility contributes significantly to the scope of both Mimer and Open Office Base.
