In my last job we had ODBC connectivity in SAS so I was able to use proc import to connect MS Access to SAS. In my present job we pull SAS from a server so ODBC connections are not used. Would I still be able to use proc import to connect an access table to SAS. I want to be able to to write programs that will populate my access tables from the results of sas

I think it will largely depend on the modules your current SAS version has to whether ODBC is part of it.

If you run:

proc setinit;
run;

In your log window it will show you all the modules associated with your SAS
