Beep Code Info Please

I have a Gigabyte GA-5AA motherboard with 3 IDE disk drives. A few days ago (for no apparent reason) the system started beeping. It beeps 3 times in a row then then there is a pause of about 3 minutes and then it beeps 3 time again, this is repeated all day.

The PC functions fine but the beeps are very distracting.

I send an e-mail to GigaByte but I did not receive a reply.

Can someone help or tell me where I can retrieve a list of the motherboard (non POST) beep codes.

Thanks ..........

RE: Beep Code Info Please

Is it a lower toned beep, like the POST, or is it the 3 beeps that you hear when you log on to Windows NT domain???

My new Tae Kwon Do website is up and running!!

RE: Beep Code Info Please

Have you checked the BIOS to see if your Thermal overheat warning is set too low?
