Which version of the firmware maintenance cd do I have installed

(OP)
Hi,

Is there any way of finding out which version of the firmware maintenance CD (now rebadged "HP Smart Update Firmware DVD") I have installed on my server?

I've taken over a box from someone who has left the company and need to understand which CD/DVD he used to update it.

I know the CD is just a collection of patches delivered by HPSUM but surely there's a way of finding out which 'standard' patch set has been delivered??

RE: Which version of the firmware maintenance cd do I have installed

Not really unfortunately.

Best would be to install HP Systems Insight Manager somewhere and let it scan your machines.
You can then work out what is out of date, can't remember if SIM can tie into Version Control to tell you whether updates are available, but there have been a lot of critical ones recently for the iLO's and smart arrays.
