Citrix online plug-in and web client stops working

Citrix online plug-in and web client stops working

(OP)
I have had this issue for 3 years now, on all versions of the Xen versions since available.  After installation, it will work for a week or 2, then will stop working.  I can see all the applications I have access to, but when I try to launch any (in either online or web client) nothing happens.  If I logout of my laptop, then login as a different profile, it'll work.

The only way I can get it working again is to uninstall, delete local folders and manually go into the registry and delete the keys under the current user (for some reason the uninstall does not remove the keys and unless they are deleted re-installing won't fix the issue), re-install, log off, log back in and I'm working again.

This becomes such a pain and have not been able to get any solutions other than my workaround of re-installing.  I am an administrator on my laptop.

RE: Citrix online plug-in and web client stops working

I am having the similar problem. The user won't be able to login to Citrix since last Friday. I did un-install and re-install, but didn't solve the problem. After reading your post, I think what I missing was to manually delete the keys in the registry. Can you tell me what keys need to be deleted? Thanks!!!

Under Current User and Users delete the citrix folder under software.  My quick fix for the next time it acts us (which is weekly) is to export those keys when citrix is working, then when it stops, I import the keys then I'm working again without have to uninstall, delete, reinstall.  It's not really a fix, but it works for me.
