Connecting Kxtda / kxtde to hotel software

Hi

Has anyone experienced using panastat with Hotel front of house software, ie for call logging, room status etc,

The switch will be physically situated about 400 meters from any pc or server, so I will be using a fibre link for IP connectivity. Correct me if I'm wrong Panastat uses IP and doesn't use the RS232 connection.

Any advise greatly appreciated.

it will use the serial port on the tda and either on the tde
