Crystal Reports Viewer Image Conversion

(OP)
Hello Members,
I have a report viewed using the Crystal Reports Viewer in XIR2. This report displays a image stored in network location. The image is stored as .bmp file when is stored on network location. When the report displays the image on viewer, the viewer is converting that image from .bmp format to .png format (i have checked this by right click on image and selecting the properties of the image on crystal reports viewer). When the is image converted to .png format, there is a loss of quality in the image. Is there any setting in Crystal reports or Crystal Reports viewer to display the image in .bmp format without converting into .png format ?

All inpust are appreciated!!!

Thanks in Advance!!!!
