Printing Text with NSLog

(OP)
Hello,

I'm just beginning Objective-C programming. I have what I believe is a very basic question. Here goes ..

I have created the following method:

- (void) whatsYourName:(char)myName
{
    NSLog(@"Your name is %@",myName);
}

When I call this method with the following:

[myClass whatsYourName:"Mickey Mouse"];

I get the following error:

Program received signal:  "EXC_BAD_ACCESS".

Please note that I'm using XCode on a Mac. What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks a bunch.

RE: Printing Text with NSLog

This is a very basic question: Read a tutorial on objective-c.
http://www.otierney.net/objective-c.html
i'll answer anyway:
myName type is a pointer to NSString object.
and an NSString object begins with @.
for example:
NSString *string = @"i m a string";
the method whatsYourName should be like this:
- (void) whatsYourName:(NSString *)myName{
    NSLog(@"Your name is %@",myName);
}
and the call to the method should be like this:
[myClass whatsYourName:@"Mickey Mouse"];
