SSG550M WebUI and Java

SSG550M WebUI and Java

SSG550M WebUI and Java

Having an issue when logging into my SSG550.

Very random as to whether it wants to display the java menu on the left hand side of the page.

Am running IE8 and Java 1.6.0_21

Have followed the intructions on the Juniper website for possible fixes but no joy :(

Anyone come across this before?

RE: SSG550M WebUI and Java

Try different version of Java or IE? I find both to be touchy depending on the application. I completely lost access to one app that I use that's heavy Java...had to uninstall the update and it worked like a champ again.

RE: SSG550M WebUI and Java

It does that on my old Netscape version 7.x also, and I think it has occurred on FireFox 3.0 intermittently, which has a much newer version of Java, than Netscape does. This happens on my client's SSG20. If you try to reload the page it dumps the connection and you have to log back into it.
