Attachmate in Excel

(OP)
Does anyone know how you can embed an attachmate session in an excel window? For example I know you can embed a InternetExplorer window in Excel by clicking "More Controls" in the "Control Toolbox" toolbar and click "Microsoft Web Browser", then drag the control onto the worksheet. I'm not sure how you can do the same thing with Attachmate?

RE: Attachmate in Excel

Hi,

I have several Excel applications that use the Attachmate 3270 emulator to scrape data or update an IMS transaction.

I have never seen the need to 'embed' the application as you describe.  It can, on command, start, login, process the data to/from Excel, quit.

Maybe you could describe your requirements in more detail.
