Macola 7.5.102e, Pervasive SQL 7

For various and convoluted reasons I am considering upgrading from Crystal Reports 8.5 to Crystal Reports XI.

The famous Macola function "NumberToDate( )" is not recognized by Crystal Report XI.

Has anyone experienced this?  If so, would you share your solution?

Thanks for any help.

RE: crystal reports XI

The file cruflma.dll should be placed in your c:\windows\crystal folder and registered.

Thank you for your response.  I don't believe I have cruflma.dll

I think I still just use u2ltdate.dll.  I did try registering that, but to no effect.  Could you tell me where to get a copy of cruflma.dll?

RE: crystal reports XI

If you use u2ltdate the function is just NumberToDate().  When you say you tried to register it to no effect, did you get an error?  If so what was it?

I am not sure cruflma.dll was used on this old of a version.  This file gives you all the Macola functions in crystal such as MacolaNumberToDate(), MacolaRemoveZeros(), etc.

The error message was:

"u2ltdate.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.

This file can not be registered"

RE: crystal reports XI

Copy the .dll from a working workstation and try to register it again.
