Cisco VPN client update push using ASA Cisco VPN client update push using ASA strtrk88 (IS/IT--Management) (OP) 27 May 10 11:38 thread463-1569710: Automatic Cisco ASA VPN Client update?Has anyone came up with an answer to this? Thanks! RE: Cisco VPN client update push using ASA kcbell (IS/IT--Management) 30 May 10 00:43 I assume: based on the thread, you are talking about Cisco AnyConnect VPN client. I recently updated all client from version 2.2 to version 2.5. Following is my way and it is working for me. First you need to downnload the package from Cisco. Second, you use ASDM to upload the package to the ASAThird, I SSH into the ASA and changed a line webvpn enable outside svc image disk0:/anyconnect-win-2.5.0217-k9.pkg <<<<-- change this line. svc enablesave the config and that was what I did. There may be other way to do it with the ASDM. But this was the way I did and it works. Hope this help! RE: Cisco VPN client update push using ASA strtrk88 (IS/IT--Management) (OP) 2 Jun 10 15:37 Thanks for the insight on what needs to be added in the configuration. Now the real question is: Does it require the user to have administrative privileges to install the VPN client software updates? RE: Cisco VPN client update push using ASA ISPKing (ISP) 3 Jun 10 17:11 ^^Try it ?
