Exact colour sampling of gradients using eyedropper?

Exact colour sampling of gradients using eyedropper?

Any idea how to sample the exact colour at any point on an object with a gradient fill? *Not* adding colour to the gradient setup menu to see what a value is along the slider - selecting a specific point on the gradient on the artboard and sampling that colour?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Exact colour sampling of gradients using eyedropper?

kinda clumsy, but what about outputting to photoshop and eyedroppering it? Gotta be a simpler solution...
