Working with presets

I worked a booklet of 32 pages and saved its preset. So everytime I need to use the same format (actually it is a quarterly magazine). So far so good. Now, I want to format a new magazine having the same, exact dimensions as this one but containg 40 pages. Can I use the same preset; changing only the number of pages from 32 to 40? Then I have in waiting another one this time containing only 8  or 12 pages (not decided yet). Can I always use the same preset just changing the number of pages? In the dialog box do I have to save the preset each time? When printing I use the print booklet > consecutive 2 up based on a preset. Can I always put the same one (whichIalready used successfully for the first amgazine?) Thanks a lot!
